Prayer

We went to church and heard something that I really needed. Neil preached on Mark 9:29, "He replied, 'This kind can come out only by prayer." In addition to using prayer in addition to Ativan, Phosphenytoin, and Phenobarb for a status epilepticus patient, it seems we need to pray for various situations because we can't do everything on our own. After church, we had the best brunch ever at Blue Mesa Grill. Nick and Jaklin joined Dad, Ben, Ruth, Amy, and me. Ben took Dad to the airport afterwards. After a good nap, Amy, Ruth, and I took a walk down the street. We met several of the neighbors including ones we had and had not met before. We ended up staying at the Kennedy's house watching Narnia and using Dining In to get some dinner from Cheesecake Factory. We had a great discussion about prayer, my family, and witnessing. It was nice to have a whole day with Amy. Unfortunately, she works again tomorrow. I'm off to learn a few songs and then to get some sleep.
