Neil preached from Mark 2:13 today, and it got my attention. With background knowledge of how tax collectors were viewed back in the day, we got an understanding of the significance of Jesus' association with Levi. This made me very aware of how I seem to view certain people. My attitude needs to change, and I know it will be difficult. After church, the small group gathered at Central Market for lunch. Tim and Suzanne came over to get some boxes from our house afterwards. I am going to play a few songs on the guitar and then it is off to work. My prayer is not to necessarily see 3 patients an hour or document better but to show compassion and kindness to every patient, doctor, nurse and staff in the ED.
