We got up a little late because we went to bed late, we checked on a neighbor since there was an ambulance and fire truck in the neighborhood at 3am, and Ruth didn't sleep well after that. We made it to church, nonetheless, and went to lunch with the Kennedys and Brookshires afterwards. Uncle D.J. also joined us and followed us home to play with Ruth. She seemed happy to see Ar D.J. since she was hugging him a lot. We were one gnome down due to a recent mishap, but I repaired him with a little Gorilla Glue. Next the Kahn brothers played some b-ball. We all ate Indian food for dinner at Roti Grill and dessert at Pokey O's where we saw familiar faces who remembered that Amy always had Buttered Pecan. We stopped by Tim and Suzanne's to see their new puppy. Ruth loved playing with both dogs.

Romans 11:6 "And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace."

I would like to work on Tomlin's song, "Your Grace is Enough." It is a wonderful thing, this grace. I am thankful for it and am glad it is not all about works.
