Parties

The Kahn family slept in again. We went to IHOP just like yesterday but this time for brunch. At the house, I played with Ruth while Amy was putting more songs on my iPhone for me. We headed to lunch at Picasso's with Nick and Jaklin. From there we went to Will's birthday party at Pump It Up where there were large inflatable slides which I enjoyed very much. I think Ruth liked them as much as I did. We drove to the baby store to look at strollers. Ruth immediately fell asleep since she had not napped and was exhausted from the playing. From there, we grabbed a few things at Target (diapers, Big Red, Hot Cheetos, and Flavor Blasted Goldfish... the essentials) and picked up the Kennedys and went to Mike Bacsik's retirement party. We dropped off the Kennedys and called it a night after showering. It was a fun and packed day.

Romans 10: 9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

It is so easy. Believe in Christ, and we are saved forever. With our heart and with our words, that is all we must do. So simple.

Romans 10:14-15 "How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!""

I remember hearing these verses at church in relation to missionaries. It is a good point that there needs to be those that spread the Gospel so that people can believe in Him. I am praying for more opportunities and decisions for our family to spread God's word.
